The Organisation

Jewish Hospice Immanuel is a recognized ANBI (Public Benefit Organization), which means that we contribute to the general interest of society and meet the requirements set by the Tax Authorities. This status allows us to receive tax benefits, which help us realize our care and support goals for our residents.

The organization is led by a director, who, together with two coordinators and an administrative assistant, is responsible for the daily operation of the hospice. This team ensures that the care is of high quality, that administrative processes run efficiently, and that sufficient attention is paid to the needs of our residents and their families.

Our board oversees the strategic direction of the organization and ensures that we always stay true to our mission and values. The board consists of six members: Anneroos Goudsmit (Chair), Guy Soesan (Treasurer), Myrav Ritsma (Secretary), Abraham Mourits (Member), Iriet Stel (Member), Sarieth Shachar (Member). Each board member oversees a specific portfolio.

In addition, Joods Hospice Immanuel works closely with various partners , financiers, and funds that support us in the provision of our care.

An important role is reserved for the Friends of Jewish Hospice Immanuel Foundation , which is committed to securing additional financial support to further promote the well-being of our residents.

As a recognized ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) we are required to publish our annual accounts and other relevant financial information annually. Transparency and accountability are of great importance to us, so that our donors, partners and other stakeholders can see how resources are spent and what impact we make.

In the annual accounts we provide insight into the financial situation of the organization, the income, expenses and the spending of received donations. By sharing this information, we want to strengthen confidence in our work and contribute to an open dialogue with our community.
