Our dedicated diverse team of professionals combines experience with a personal approach, focusing on both physical well-being and emotional and spiritual needs. We provide a warm, caring and unique environment. Together we create a place where our residents and their loved ones feel safe, heard and seen.
The People
Coordinators
The coordinators are the heart of Jewish Hospice Immanuel. They oversee daily operations, maintain contact with internal and external staff, and report to the management. Residents and their loved ones can also contact them with comments, wishes, and complaints.
Volunteers
At Jewish Hospice Immanuel, the warm and committed volunteers play an indispensable role. Each contributes their own talents to our hospice. Some have taken on a regular task: cooking, washing, ironing, or doing odd jobs around the house. From 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., there are always two volunteers in the house. Our volunteers are carefully selected and trained. They dedicate themselves with care and respect.

Nursing team
Jewish Hospice Immanuel works with a permanent team of nurses employed by Attenza. They work well together and with our volunteers. These experienced and skilled nurses are responsible for the care of our residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Doctors
Our doctors, who are affiliated with the Zwaanvliet general practice, provide medical care with expertise and commitment, always tailored to the needs and well-being of our residents.
The board
Our board contributes with knowledge and responsibility to guaranteeing the mission, vision and continuity of the hospice. They perform their tasks unpaid and on a volunteer basis.
The management
The management ensures good organization and a safe, loving environment for residents, staff, and volunteers. It monitors the direction of the hospice and maintains relationships with partners, foundations, and the community. As of March 1, Jurgen Morel is the interim director of Joods Hospice Immanuel. During this period, he ensures the continuity of the organization and its operations.
